How do you get a driving license and car using Motability?
Motability provide benefits to support the mobility of anyone who meets the qualification criterion to provide support for driving lessons, car insuance and breakdown and a suitable vehicle.
In order to get mobile, the following steps need to be followed:
- Get a provisional driving License: (1 month from applications)
- Pass the driving theory test (2 months including test and retest: £23 per test)
- Complete driving lessons (£30 – £50 per lesson : min of 8 lessons = £400)
- Pass the driving test to get a full license (Lead time of 5 months and cost of £62)
- Order car (Current lead times 6-8 months for most models)
