ISCC will facilitate the Union Database (UDB) as Service Provider
The UDB is currently being developed by the European
Commission (EC)
• As of today, it is not known yet when the UDB will becomeoperational
• Once it has started its official operation, economic operators
have to provide specified information to the UDB
on sustainability and GHG emissions savings related to
deliveries of sustainable material
ISCC is an active participant in UDB workshops and is in
continuous discussions with the EC and other stakeholders
• ISCC will act as Service Provider, i.e. facilitate the process of
data provision for economic operators to the UDB
• ISCC has already set up a tool to facilitate this process
• Pilots with selected economic operators are being conducted
